So far, 2020 has been a weird (and stressful) year for the whole world. The Covid-19 pandemic has completely changed society and left many people concerned about the future. While maintaining social distancing and wearing face masks in public should be our number one priority to stop the spread of the disease, I want to focus on what YOU can do to keep healthy during these difficult times.
1. Diet
Having a healthy, balanced diet is essential for healthy living and building up a strong immune system. Make sure you are eating enough fruit and veg and stay within your average caloric intake (based on age, gender, and height).
2. Exercise
Exercise is great for burning calories, building muscle, as well as enhancing your balance and coordination. Exercise releases endorphins, which can help to lighten your mood. Take some time out of your day to exercise, as it is also great for your physical and mental well-being.
3. Sleep
During sleep, the body to temporarily shuts off and recovers. An average adult should be getting close to 7-8 hours of quality sleep per night.
4. Visit us at Osmosis Chiro
Headaches, neck pain, lower back pain and muscle tension have become even more prevalent now because many more people are working from home. Take some time out of your day to take care of your physical well being. Our chiropractors at Osmosis Chiro are happy to assist you through these tough times by making sure your body is moving optimally and pain free.
